It's no doubt that at Strength & Spine Chiropractic, we are not known to be the "cheapest doctors in town." Actually, it is quite the opposite. We know working with us is an investment and we take it as a compliment when people tell us we are expensive. Why? Because we know and value what we do to help those who trust us and so do they.
This is a barrier of entry for some as most are used to "quick fixes" that can range from the fast-food style chiropractic costing $39 for less than a 5-minute appointment or those who are used to paying a $50 co-pay at the insurance-based clinic down the street that hasn't resolved their problem in 15 visits.
Before we can explain how this instant-gratification mindset in healthcare is so costly, first we must help you understand what we mean by expensive/costly. Most immediately think of the monetary costs, however, we refer to the costs of things on a deeper level.
For example, how many days of work did you miss because of your pain? How many nights were you unable to sleep due to the stress of your pain/injury? How many times did you have to tell your kids you can't play with them because your back and knee hurt?
Using those examples, how much would that cost you? Can you put a monetary value on those negative feelings? If so, are those negative feelings worth the cost?
How about thinking about how much time and effort you've invested in quick fixes? You've gone to multiple doctors' offices for multiple appointments without getting the results you've wanted. You've taken off work, rearranged your schedule to get an appointment, or have missed potential family time to make it into those offices. How much is that time worth of you missing things and driving to and from the office?
I know it's easy for me to sit here and write this as I'm not the one in pain or injured right now, however, I too have had bad days and injuries that I tried so many things before investing in the right people and to be honest, I wish I did that first.
Read that again, "I wish I did that first."
We hear this ALL THE TIME. "I wish I found you guys 2 years ago." "I wish I scheduled with you earlier." "I wish I knew about you immediately after I got hurt."
What does this mean? This means we are the doctors that help those who are in pain or dealing with an injury find the solution they are looking for to achieve the goals they want to achieve.
This means we are the ones who put in the extra effort to explain the who, what, where, and why to our patients. The doctors who help you learn and create healthy habits of performing mobility and stability exercises, even when you're not hurt. The doctors who will be there every step of the way and will answer your weekend text on what to do when you are experiencing a flare-up.
WE are the doctors worth investing in because WE are the ones willing to work together as a team with you to help guide you to your goals. And we know it is an investment in many forms to work with us. An investment in time, effort, and finances. But it is the opportunity to finally get the results you've been looking for. It is the opportunity to have a well-rested night, to be able to play with your kids without worrying about getting hurt, and an opportunity to win your life back.
That's why quick fixes are so dang expensive. They cost you so much more outside of that number in your bank account. We value the more and value how much that is worth to you. That is why it is our mission to get you back to living a life with less pain and better movement. That is why we are no quick fix and the effort and finances that comes with working with us are worth it.
